Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica

After your flight, you will exit the plane and instantly feel the pure Costa Rican air; here your adventure begins. A representative will be waiting for you at the airport to accompany you during your private transfer to your hotel. You will be free to explore San Jose and experience the lively, cultural city. Overnight in San Jose. Meals not included.

Day 2: Pacuare River / Arenal Volcano

Unleash your adventurous side today and prepare yourself for a day filled with exhilaration because you will be white water rafting down one of the top ten rivers in the world, the Pacuare River. After the tour, when your adrenaline is starting to dissipate, you will be transferred to Arenal Volcano area to spend the rest of the day, as you would like. Overnight in Arenal. Breakfast and lunch included.

Day 3: Arenal Volcano National Park

You will be introduced to a new and upcoming adventure sport called canyoning, where you will rappel down canyon walls in unison with the powerful waterfalls surrounding you until you reach the bottom. Late afternoon, keep your eyes sharp as you absorb the breathtaking flora and fauna on your nature walk with your guide throughout the Arenal Volcano National Park. At night you will recharge your energy and relax your muscles in natural hot springs warmed by the volcanic activity. Overnight in Arenal. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
Day 4: Monteverde
Transfer to Monteverde in a rather unique way, partly by jeep and partly by boat, enjoying the significant views of the towering, Arenal Volcano. In the afternoon, you will ride gentle horses, admiring different landscapes throughout the inspirational Cloud Forest, one of few that still remain in this world. Overnight in Monteverde. Breakfast included.
Day 5: Santa Elena
Experience life as a bird while “flying” above the canopy of trees through the Cloud Forest on this zip line tour. Enjoy the breeze through your hair and the birds eye view of this forest while taking part in one of Costa Rica’s most top rated activity. The afternoon is free to explore Santa Elena or to enjoy an optional tour of your choice. Overnight in Monteverde. Breakfast included.
Day 6: Samara Beach
Today you will transfer to the North Pacific side of Costa Rica to the Samara Beach. The day will be free to enjoy the sandy beach with majestic waves that make it a hot spot for surfing, swimming, and soaking up the golden rays of the tender, Costa Rican sun. Overnight in Samara Beach. Breakfast included.
Day 7: Your Choice!
Control your own destiny today by choosing one of the three highly rated adventures: Mountain biking on dirt roads throughout the lush forests, kayaking and snorkeling in the ocean near Chora Island, or taking surf lessons to improve your surfing skills at Samara Beach. Overnight in Samara Beach. Breakfast included.
Day 8: Return to San José
You will return to the fast-paced style of living in the capital of Costa Rica, San Jose. The day is free for you to explore the city one last time before your departure the following day. Overnight in San Jose. Breakfast included.
Day 9: See you again!
It is not a “good-bye” but a “see you again” as you take your private transfer to Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) to travel back home and reunite with family and friends. Breakfast included.
